The service
Swipe Write provides dating profile optimisation, messaging support, and dating strategy advice, delivered through Instagram Direct Message by James Fyvie ("we", "us"). There's no app, account, or subscription — the service is advisory: we send you rewrites, suggestions, and feedback, and you decide what to actually use.
Who can use it
You need to be 18 or older, since the service is built around dating apps that require the same. By using the service, you're confirming you meet that requirement and that everything you send us is yours to share.
How it works
You send us material — screenshots, context, questions — and we send back rewrites and advice based on it. We never ask for your dating app or Instagram password, and we never log into your accounts, message anyone, or make changes on your behalf. Every message that goes out under your name is sent by you.
No guaranteed outcomes
We can improve how a profile reads and how a conversation is likely to land, but we can't guarantee matches, replies, dates, or relationships. Dating outcomes depend on far more than a bio or an opening line, and we make no promises about results.
Fees
Where a paid service is involved, pricing and payment are agreed directly with you over DM before any work begins. We don't take payment through this website.
Your responsibilities
- The material you send us is accurate and yours to share
- You won't ask us to help with anything deceptive, harassing, or that breaks the rules of the platform you're using
- You stay responsible for your own accounts and for what you ultimately choose to send
Intellectual property
Rewrites, suggestions, and advice we give you are yours to use for your own profile and conversations. We may occasionally ask permission to use anonymised, non-identifying examples of our work for marketing — we'll always ask first.
Limitation of liability
We provide this service on an advisory, best-effort basis. To the extent permitted by law, we're not liable for outcomes on third-party platforms (Instagram, dating apps) or for decisions you make based on our suggestions.
Ending the engagement
Either side can end the engagement at any time, simply by saying so over DM. If you've paid for work not yet delivered, we'll sort out a fair resolution directly with you.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms occasionally. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed — continuing to use the service after an update means you accept the new terms.
