Who we are
Swipe Write ("we", "us") is a dating profile and messaging advisory service run by James Fyvie, operating primarily through the Instagram account @swipewriteofficial. This policy explains what we collect when you use the service, why, and what you can do about it.
Information we collect
We only collect what you choose to send us directly, typically via Instagram Direct Message. This can include:
- Screenshots of your dating app profile, bio, and prompts
- Screenshots of conversations you'd like help with
- Your Instagram handle, and anything else you tell us about yourself to help tailor the advice (city, age range, what you're looking for)
- Any follow-up messages you send us as part of the conversation
We don't use tracking cookies, analytics pixels, or third-party ad trackers on this website. The site itself only loads fonts from Google Fonts to display correctly — no personal data is collected through the site.
How we use it
We use what you send us for one purpose: to give you profile rewrites, messaging suggestions, and dating strategy advice. We don't use your material to train models, build marketing lists, or share it as an example of our work without asking you first.
Sharing your information
We don't sell your information, and we don't share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes. The one exception is Instagram itself, which handles the DMs as the messaging platform — their own privacy policy governs how they process that data, separately from us.
How long we keep it
We keep DM conversations and the material you send only for as long as it's useful for delivering the service, and we delete or archive it once the engagement is finished unless you ask us to keep it (for example, if you want to come back for a follow-up review later).
Your rights
You can ask us at any time — by DM — to tell you what we hold on you, to delete it, or to stop using it. We'll action that within a reasonable time and confirm once it's done.
Age requirement
This service is for adults only. It's built around dating apps, which require users to be 18 or older, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under that age.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we'll update this page and change the date at the top.
